Possible Humans: Standing Around Alive [Hobbies Galore]

The proper debut album from Possible Humans, 2019’s Everybody Split, was some undersung sprawling guitar comfort food. Their follow-up Standing Around Alive (released on this side of the world by the great Trouble in Mind Records) comes as a massive and wonderful surprise. It’s a patient rock’n’roll record that’ll settle you into its sprawl before knocking you out with a punchline, a sour note, or a big scuzzy guitar solo.
