A quick rundown of some highlights from the usual Bandcamp Friday flood.

Hey it’s Punk This Week. I’m traveling at the moment but didn’t want to miss an installment of the column on this loaded Bandcamp Friday. The word count has been kept to a minimum. Between new Pyrex, Yuasa-Exide, So Cow, Total Con, Boo/Hiss, Pat and the Pissers, and more, there’s so much incredible stuff out this time around that merits your attention.
Do you want to read about all of these records, this week and every week? Punk This Week is available to paid subscribers (and those who barter their way across the paywall). Pyrex: Body [Total Punk]
Ever since the last Pyrex album a couple years ago, the Brooklyn muscle punks have stayed busy, but their sick 7” on Under the Gun just left me wanting more. Body is an incredible payoff and likely their best album yet—this attack of post-punk guitars and feral vocals and a hardcore pummel. “Nerve Ends” is excellent, this dark vortex that’ll easily sweep up the listener into its build, whereas a track like “Coma” is more of a sprint. I’ll have it all, please.
