punk this week podcast 52: added dimensions + silo kids
Recorded (in part) live from Memphis during Gonerfest, there’s a lot of psychological Kermit reckoning in this episode.

Punk This Week is see/saw’s free weekly podcast from co-hosts Evan Minsker and Nina Corcoran—a discussion of the latest and greatest in the world of punk rock. We talk about six new punk records we’re loving from the past week.
Evan went to Gonerfest and all he got was a sore throat (and, of course, pretty sick...and a bunch of records). Nina saw that huge Turnstile show. In the midst of exciting weekends at the gigs, they recorded this episode of Punk This Week and found themselves exploring a psychological breakdown of all things Kermit.
This intro is long; we get to the records around 29-minute mark. Discussed this time are new records from Added Dimensions, Silo Kids, Genre, Nosepick, Permanent Opposite, and Property.
Thanks to Baby Tyler Band for use of our theme song “Needs” off their self-titled album. Thanks to Waylon Thornton for the bumpers. Thanks to Tyler Nickell for the podcast’s artwork.
