Hey, it’s Punk This Week on a Bandcamp Friday. That means there’s a massive amount of great new punk and rock'n'roll music to sift through for the latest in this series of weekly recommendations columns. Have you heard the new No Peeling, Street Eaters, Winston Hytwr, Loose Lips, or Quintron and Miss Pussycat records? How about Heavenly Pop Hits’ massive PCRF benefit or the lead singles from next week’s HARAM drop?

Truthfully, there’s a massive amount of deeply sick new punk music coming out all the time from all over the world. This full column gets delivered to the inboxes of paid subscribers every Friday. That’s $4/month, $40/year, or barter; there’s a two-week free trial, too. I have a day job, but would love for this to be my sole focus someday because I love writing about this music. Kick over a few bucks and read about the ocean of wild new rock'n'roll records that await.

No Peeling: No Peeling [Feel It]

The self-titled wild-eyed new wave 7” from Nottingham’s No Peeling never, ever lets up—a masterclass of making the most of every single moment you’re given. They stuffed seven songs on this record, and every one of them drives ahead and ahead and ahead, like a band who’s engineered a live show without pauses. There are perfectly placed lead guitar moments, big textural and percussive change-ups, and perfect synth stabs wherever they’re needed. Sophie’s vocals veer from conversational to playful to forceful; the listener’s never given the chance to find their footing, which means they’ve got to keep dancing.
