Jacket Burner: Tonite [Goodbye Boozy]

Jacket Burner has yet to receive his due. Over the past year, the New Mexico gutter rocker has put out a pretty substantial pile of budget punk that feels akin to the works of Buck Biloxi or the Spits. This new 7” on Goodbye Boozy feels like the project’s most iconic release; the art goes a long way toward locking in that distinction. “Cold Leather” feels pretty classic on its own, then the next track he’s all like “exterminate mortal scum.” That’s punk rock, baby. Give this dirtbag his flowers.
