Impotentie: Zonder Titel Deze Keer [RoachLeg]
Impotentie is a trio featuring members of S.H.I.T., Stigmatism, Justice, Dead Stop, Glue, Institute, Secretors, and Hysteric Polemix. It’s a post-punk record dripping with ’80s gloom and defined by Oi! vocals. The most palpably upbeat song on the record is “Nat Vuile Land,” which is about fucking hating it here. It’s a record staring down the rise of fascism without any sign of revolution on the horizon. Impotentie shout about the frustration around the act of shouting, like what they’re doing with words will never be enough if those words don’t prompt action. (All profits from digital sales go to Palestine Action.)
