get your tickets to see/saw year 2 in minneapolis
The Sleaze, Bermuda Squares, Kilynn Lunsford, Cruelster, BUIO OMEGA, TY, and T.A.C.K. March 28 at Eagles.
Last year at Eagles #34 in Minneapolis, I threw a birthday party for see/saw. It was seven bands in two rooms—a power bill. I threw two parties beforehand, too—both power bills. Sometime that week, Greer from BUIO OMEGA told me “we’ll play year 2.” A few people told me they were excited about year 2. At some point it just seemed like a given that I’d do year 2. Today, tickets are on sale for year 2.
On March 28, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #34, you are cordially invited to see/saw year 2. The Sleaze, Bermuda Squares, Kilynn Lunsford, Cruelster, BUIO OMEGA, TY, and T.A.C.K. are playing. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Bands start at 7 p.m.
Minneapolis garage punk greats the Sleaze are reuniting for what Conor calls “their first and only show in 13 years.” Their 7" run including “Smokin’ Fuckin’ Cigs” and the “Crush” b/w “PCP” 7" is quietly legendary. They put out perfect records and played unforgettable live shows. The last time I saw them was at Total Punk’s 2013 SXSW party. I watched a dude pour an entire beer down Conor’s buttcrack. My brother and I laughed and laughed.
Bermuda Squares are returning in 2026, and at year 2, Tony says they’re going to play some new stuff. I love this band’s records and am excited about the prospect of the follow-up to 2024’s Outsider. Shout out Annie and Pat and AJ, but especially Tony, who helped broker the Sleaze reunion. Here’s a pro tip from me to you: When you ask any band to reunite for your blog’s birthday party, it’s good to have Tony broker the deal. I am a huge Bermuda Squares fan and can’t wait to see them again.
BUIO OMEGA, hardcore darlings of South Minneapolis, fucking rule. Greer is a legend. Nikki is a legend. Matt is a legend. Midge is a legend. I don’t know CC yet, but she’s a legend by association in the very least. Do you want to see a band that’ll get in your face and rip through songs from their unbelievable new 7" On the Prowl and some other deeply good ones too? Don’t you want to stop by the merch table and get one of the puppy dog t-shirts or one of Greer’s sick pins or talk to Nikki about classic All Japan matches?
All four bands coming in from out of town released some of the best punk records of 2025. Philadelphia’s Kilynn Lunsford is bringing her band and gracing the Shadewald stage with songs from the unbelievable art punk opus Promiscuous Genes.
This major announcement thankfully includes the news that Cruelster will drive over from Cleveland. Make Them Wonder Why is a masterpiece and I can’t believe they agreed to this.
TY are heading over from Detroit on the heels of their tough'n'catchy debut WE R TY and their new 7" Hot Wheel City. When Rocco interviewed them for see/saw, they talked about how much they hate Nazis. It’ll be real nice to see ’em.
The New Orleans garage punk duo T.A.C.K. are coming up and smashing a trash can lid. Expect some two-ingredient ragers from their stellar debut, TACKLE.

I love Minneapolis. I love going to punk shows. I love seeing my friends at punk shows. Come hang out for what promises to be a very fun night in the planet’s best city. Let’s support some artists, and definitely support the people of Minneapolis right now whether you’re coming or not. Fuck ICE.
Below find some more shows coming up. I’ll have flyers and stuff soon.
