teeter/totter: a see/saw benefit is a compilation featuring 28 new punk songs. Some punk music is accidentally perfect children’s music. I know a lot of kids who like boppin’ around to great punk songs, including my own kid. That was the prompt behind this new benefit comp, and some of the best punk musicians in the world came through in a big way.

Proceeds from this one will be split between the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and the Immigrant Defense Network. It’s a compilation to benefit kids who need help, and it’s a compilation that kids might have fun listening to.

Featuring 1-800-MIKEY, Answering Machines, Awesome Snakes, Big Clown, Boo/Hiss, Bugg Music, Cherry Cheeks, Choncy, Dorothy Fuzz, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Eraser, Feeling Figures, Flippeur, Guiding Light, Guyscrapers, Good Flying Birds, Harry W., Heather the Jerk, Judy and the Jerks, Mr. [Redacted], Radical Man and Skateboard Jim, the rotting lobes (members of Puppet Wipes), Silicone Prairie, sprgrs, Twisted Teens, URO (members of M.A.Z.E.), Van Goth, and Yuasa-Exide.

The track from Minneapolis’ Awesome Snakes is the first new recording from the band since 2009. If you purchase the comp, the uncensored version is available as a bonus download.

I curated the compilation, Tyler Nickell did the artwork, Cavity Creeps (Heather and Josh from Boo/Hiss) are making a super limited run of tapes, and Andres Wade did the final master. Thanks for checking it out and thanks to everyone who contributed to this one.
