see/saw was started as an expression of love for a specific kind of wild and bizarre punk + rock'n'roll music. It became an art practice and exercise in community. Very early on, I envisioned making this zine—the culmination of months obsessing over wonderfully intense records.
see/saw’s top 52 punk + rock'n'roll records of 2024 is a newsprint broadsheet that won’t be published online. Art directed by John F. Malta, it’s got a big beautiful piece of artwork on one side and a top 52 list on the other with blurbs by David Anthony, Colette Arrand, Ben Blackwell, Nina Corcoran, Martin Douglas, Gem Fair, Allison Hussey, Chris Landry, Christina Pap, Jenn Pelly, Liz Pelly, Matthew Ismael Ruiz, Sydney Salk, Tom Scharpling, Maria Sherman, Fred Thomas, Cody Triplett, and me.
I can’t guarantee these will ship in time for the holiday, but the first 100 are shipping on or around 12/20. More will be printed to meet demand.
