punk this week podcast: dog date + mesh
Nina sees one billion shows. Evan’s child slams into a zydeco musician. We lose it for construction workers losing it for Emeril. “Falcon CRUST!”
Punk This Week is see/saw’s weekly podcast from co-hosts Evan Minsker and Nina Corcoran—a discussion of the latest and greatest in the world of punk rock. We talk about six new punk records we’re loving from the past week.
Bam! Bam! Bam! We’re swooning over punk records like some construction workers who just saw some meatballs get dusted with parmesan. After discussing multiple outings to shows, the big five U.S. orchestras, and Nina’s superhuman ability to never get sick (until this week), we get into an excellent week of new music including records by Dog Date, Mesh, Vida Ruim, Cel Ray, Falcon Crust, and Cuticles.
Some quick housekeeping: Punk This Week is taking next week off, so we’ll be sharing a brand new episode of see/saw jukebox (usually a bonus podcast behind the paywall) on the main feed.
Otherwise, ad-free and bonus episodes are available exclusively to paid see/saw subscribers with the link at the bottom of this page! If you like this podcast, please subscribe and leave a review on your podcatcher + please tell your friends!
