punk this week: nympho, autobahns, ty segall + 19 more
Billiam, Busted Head Racket, CLAMM, Egg Girl Girl, Elvis 2, Amex, EYE BALL, HOON, and so much more.

Welcome back to Punk This Week, see/saw’s weekly breakdown of the best new punk + rock'n'roll records. This week sees the release of the new Ty Segall album, some outstanding queer punk outings from Nympho and Egg Girl Girl, the latest from CLAMM, and so much more. Goodbye Boozy’s drops include the Autobahns and Elvis 2 split & a collaboration between Busted Head Racket and Billiam. The new Amex tape melted my face clean off.
If you want to read about all that stuff and have a pile of punk writing and recommendations delivered to your inbox every week, you’ve got to subscribe to see/saw for $4/month or $40/year (with a two-week free trial). There’s a free subscription too, but paying money gets you the bonus podcast see/saw jukebox and the see/saw radio archive. Your dollars support a completely independent endeavor devoid of investors or corporate backing. I really pour myself into these columns, so thanks so much for subscribing and reading. Enough business, enjoy the column.
Nympho: Honk If You’re Horny [Get Better]
Philadelphia “poppers punks” (see what they did there) Nympho are a band featuring members of Empath and Perfect Pussy. Most crucially, they fucking rip. This is lead-footed rock’n’roll caked in lip gloss and dirt. As the cover suggests, these are horned up, bare-assed, leather-donning chain punks. Everything hits as hard as possible and the hooks are phenomenal. By the time this thing is over—which is fast, because it’s six songs that run between one or two minutes—I’m desperate for more. (Honk?)
