punk this week: home front, tony molina, clickbait + 25 more
Fast recommendations of sick punk records. No paywall since I didn’t write much.
Hey everyone, it’s Evan Minsker. It may surprise you to learn that today is my birthday. When your birthday falls on a Friday in November, you have two options: spend all day writing about punk records at your desk until it’s dark out, or go somewhere else. I’m going to do the second thing.
This isn’t the usual Punk This Week column. Instead of 2,000 words of criticism and contextualization, this one’s just a list of records I think you should click on and check out. I’ll talk about three of them more in depth on the next Punk This Week podcast and play the good stuff on the radio/put it on the next playlist.
Usually this is where I put the spiel about how you need to subscribe for $4/month or $40/year or barter to access the weekly column. That’s usually the case, but this mega-abbreviated one’s free for everyone. If you want to get me something for my birthday, though, I’d love it if you subscribed to see/saw or bought someone in your life a gift subscription. Think about it! Have a nice weekend. See you next time.
